APIM at the 4th Employment and Professional Training Fair
The Mauritanian Investment Promotion Agency (APIM) participated in the 4th Employment and Professional Training Fair held on April 15-16, 2025, under the theme “Youth Employability: Challenges and Perspectives.”
The Deputy Director General, Mr. Mohamed Habiboullah Mohamed Ahmed, participated in a panel on the creation, financing, and development of SMEs, where he presented the Agency’s vision and actions in this field.
Additionally, APIM set up an exhibition stand showcasing investment opportunities, business creation processes, and investment incentive measures, highlighting figures achieved since 2021, including 19,077 businesses created, 104 approved projects, and 5,822 direct jobs expected from these approved projects.
The stand was visited by the Ministers of Youth Empowerment, Employment, Sports and Civic Service, Mr. Mohamed Abdallahi Ould Louly; Professional Training, Crafts and Trades, Mr. Mohamed Maalainine Ould Eyih; and the Deputy Minister of Budget, Mr. Codioro Moussa N’Guenore.
This fair served as a strategic platform where government, private sector, and development partners gathered to address issues related to youth employment, explore the alignment between training and employment, and encourage the development of innovative professions.
