APIM in China: An Intense First Day!
The Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM) has kicked off its investment prospecting mission in China, led by Mr. Habiboullah Mohamed Ahmed, Deputy Director General. The objective: strengthen economic ties and attract new investors to Mauritania.
The multi-step mission began in Jinhua with a particularly eventful day full of visits and exchanges:
🔹 Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University: Discussions focused on training, capacity building, and exploring partnerships with Mauritanian higher education institutions to create new opportunities for Mauritanian students.
🔹 Jinhua Agricultural Institute: Talks centered on technologies used to improve seeds and crop varieties adapted to various climates and soils—technologies with great potential for developing a resilient and sustainable agriculture in Mauritania.
🔹 Lingbao Factory: Visit of a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, a strategic sector for Mauritania’s energy transition.
The day concluded with a formal reception and dinner hosted by the Deputy Mayor of Jinhua in honor of the delegation, with the presence of Chinese investors and officials.
Mr. Habiboullah Mohamed Ahmed was accompanied by:
