APIM co-organiser of the Mauritanian edition of the Link Up Africa programme
From May 19 to 21, the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM) co-organized, in partnership with the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), the Belgian development agency Enabel, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, the second edition of the Link Up Africa programme. The event was held with the technical support of StartUp Maroc and financial backing from the European Union.
Over three days, more than 50 professionals from 20 public and private institutions within Mauritania’s entrepreneurial ecosystem participated in capacity-building sessions. These sessions were centered around a key objective: training trainers and transferring a full incubation toolkit for startups, including templates, guides, digital resources, and practical tools.
Certificates were awarded to participants during the closing ceremony, attended by Ms. Aïssata LAM, Director General of APIM; H.E. Mr. Hamid CHABAR, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Mauritania; Mr. Mouad EL HARRAMI, representative of AMCI; and Ms. Guedie KANE, representative of Enabel in Mauritania.
This partnership reflects APIM’s ongoing commitment to strengthening support mechanisms and fostering an inclusive private sector.
