Signing of a new agreement between APIM and TECHGHIL to strengthen the employability of young graduates in Mauritania
Yesterday Monday July 31st, Madame Aissata LAM, Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), and Mr. Mohamed Dieh Sidaty MOHAMED EL MAHFOUDH, Director General of the National Agency for Employment (TECHGHIL), officially signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the KHOUTWA program aimed at providing young graduates with their first professional experience to enhance their employability.
Under this agreement, twenty young female graduates, will have the opportunity to undertake a paid internship at APIM, enabling them to develop their skills and expand their knowledge, thus preparing them for the labor market.
Upon completion of this internship, these young female graduates will receive priority consideration for employment in case of equivalent qualifications.
💡 Strengthening the employability of young female graduates is one of APIM’s commitments under the Technical and Institutional Support Project for the Agency, launched last June in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
