APIM and AMDIE Strengthen Their Cooperation

Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), and Mr. Ali Seddiki, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), signed a Memorandum of Understanding on April 3, 2026, in Rabat, aimed at structuring and strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.

This renewed momentum in cooperation between APIM and AMDIE follows an immersion mission organized as part of the support program provided to APIM by the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade.

During this mission, in-depth discussions and exchanges of experience took place with key Moroccan stakeholders in investment and entrepreneurship, including:
▪ The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM),
▪ Casablanca Finance City,
▪ The Ministry of Industry and Trade,
▪ Tanger Med,
▪ The Digital Development Agency,
▪ Maroc PME.

The discussions focused on best practices in investment promotion, business support, territorial marketing, economic intelligence, and digital transformation.

The meeting with CGEM notably provided an opportunity to present the business climate and investment opportunities to representatives of the Moroccan private sector.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with AMDIE reflects a shared commitment to building a sustainable and operational partnership in support of economic attractiveness.

On this occasion, the Director General of APIM would like to thank the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade, AMDIE, and all partners for the quality of the welcome and the richness of the exchanges.
