Day 2 | National Agricultural Investment Forum

On April 8, 2026, the first edition of the National Agricultural Investment Forum concluded with a day fully dedicated to exchange, consultation, and tangible outcomes.

Public stakeholders, investors, and project promoters came together in interactive plenary discussions, fostering direct dialogue on opportunities, challenges, and action levers to boost investment in agro-sylvo-pastoral value chains.

The day also featured technical panels and presentations, deepening the identified priorities and highlighting concrete pathways to accelerate the transformation of Mauritania’s agri-food systems.

The forum concluded with remarks from APIM’s Deputy Director General, Mr. Habiboullah Mohamed Ahmed, and FAO’s Resident Representative, Mr. Jean Senahoun, who praised the quality of the exchanges and reaffirmed the importance of strengthening partnerships to turn discussions into concrete actions and investments.
