On Monday, December 22, 2025, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received at the Agency’s headquarters His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Mauritania.
The discussions focused on the prospects for economic and investment cooperation between Mauritania and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, continuing the dialogue initiated during the Mauritanian-Saudi investment roundtable organized by APIM in October 2025.
Building on this momentum, the meeting also addressed the organization of future joint initiatives, roundtables, sectoral meetings, or economic missions, aimed at strengthening exchanges between the economic actors of both countries and fostering the emergence of concrete partnerships in high-potential sectors.
APIM and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reaffirmed their shared commitment to consolidating bilateral cooperation and promoting private investment in support of the economic development of both countries.
