On April 6, 2026, the Director General of the Agence de Promotion des Investissements en Mauritanie, Dr Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received at the Agency’s headquarters His Excellency Mr. Neeraj Agrawal, Ambassador of India to Mauritania, accompanied by a delegation from the Embassy, as part of a courtesy visit.
This meeting provided an initial opportunity to establish contact, present the investment framework in Mauritania, highlight high-potential sectors, and explore avenues for collaboration between Mauritanian and Indian economic actors.
The discussions opened prospects for cooperation, notably to facilitate investments and strengthen economic relations between Mauritania and India.
