Yesterday, January 31, 2024, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency in Mauritania (APIM) welcomed, for a working visit, a delegation including the Delivery Unit from Senegal, the Operational Bureau of the Emerging Senegal Plan, and the Delivery Unit of Mauritania, the Cell for Monitoring the Execution of Strategic Priorities (CSEPS).


During this meeting, APIM’s team presented its role in promoting investments and discussed the challenges faced by the agency and investors. The delegation will continue discussions with other key stakeholders in the public and private sectors to formulate a concrete support proposal to achieve the goals of economic and social development in the country, in line with its national strategy.

The “African Delivery Units” are specialized government teams collaborating with ministries to accelerate the implementation of national strategy programs. This network, composed of Delivery Units from 15 African countries, is led by the African Development Bank and the Operational Bureau of the Emerging Senegal Plan, with the participation of Mauritania through CSEPS.
