Visit of the Tunisian ambassador

The Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Ms. Aissata Lam received His Excellency the Tunisian ambassador in Mauritania, H.E. Mr. Sabri Chaabani, accompanied by a delegation of Tunisian businessmen from various sectors.

This visit is part of the Multi-sectoral Economic Mission  organized by the Tunisia Africa Business Council, which took place from June 4th to 8th 2023 in Nouakchott.

The mission aims to further explore investment opportunities in Mauritania and reinforce economic exchanges between Mauritania and Tunisia, through B2B and networking meetings between investors from both countries.

APIM actively contributed to the success of 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚-𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚.

DG’s participation in the opening ceremony, the establishment of a Mobile Single Window Stand on site and the intervention during the panel on the Business Climate in Mauritania were noticed.

The organization of this forum created a platform conducive  to fruitful exchanges and the establishment of solid partnerships between economic players in Tunisia and Mauritania.
