On April 6, 2026, the Director General of the Agence de Promotion des Investissements en Mauritanie, Dr Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received at the Agency’s headquarters His Excellency Emmanuel Besnier, Ambassador of France to Mauritania, accompanied by the Embassy’s Economic Counsellor, Luc Boyer, as part of a working visit.
Discussions focused on recent reforms, high-potential sectors, and concrete measures to facilitate the establishment of French companies, with particular attention given to streamlining investor pathways.
The APIM and the French Embassy reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening a sustainable economic partnership, promoting investment and supporting the development of bilateral economic relations.
