APIM receives a delegation from the World Health Organization

The Director General of APIM, Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received today Charlotte Faty Ndiaye, WHO Country Representative in Mauritania, accompanied by Maria Ludovica Carucci, External Relations Officer.

The meeting was held as part of the preparations for the Forum on Strengthening Intra-OIC Trade and Investment in the Pharmaceutical Sector, scheduled to take place on 13–14 July 2026 in Nouakchott, in partnership with the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and the African Development Bank (AfDB).

iscussions also addressed potential areas of collaboration to promote investment in Mauritania’s health sector, particularly through the development of a structured framework, the identification and promotion of investment opportunities, and the provision of reliable, structured data in support of the sector’s sustainable and inclusive development.
