The Board of Directors of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM) held its 11th session this Thursday, 1 October 2026, at the Agency’s headquarters, under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohameden BAGGA.
Board members reviewed the Agency’s first-half performance, which was marked by sustained activity across its various areas of responsibility:
📜 28 investment certificates issued
💰 MRU 4.13 billion in declared investments
👷 782 direct jobs expected
🏢 1,473 companies registered through the One-Stop Shop
📣 16 investment promotion and prospecting activities
🌍 292 investors and prospects supported
🤝 3 new partnerships established with institutions and financial partners
The Board also reviewed budget execution as of 30 June 2026, as well as the follow-up on the recommendations of the External Auditor, before approving all items on the agenda.
