Today, 30 September 2026, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Dr Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received at the Agency’s headquarters a delegation of German companies led by H.E. Dr Florian Reindel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mauritania, as part of a business prospecting mission organised by the German Mittelstand Business Hub and Korte Law.
In their remarks, the Director General of APIM and H.E. the German Ambassador emphasised the importance of strengthening economic relations between the two countries and fostering concrete partnerships between their respective business communities.
The delegation included representatives of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), and the BVMW, as well as German companies active in the construction, energy, industry, consulting and digital sectors.
APIM’s teams presented high-potential sectors, as well as ongoing and planned projects in the short and medium term, particularly in energy, infrastructure, mining, industry and digital technologies.
The participating companies also presented their activities, areas of expertise and interests in the Mauritanian market, helping to identify several potential areas for collaboration.
APIM’s Investor Support Service will provide individual follow-up with the participating companies to further explore the opportunities identified, facilitate relevant business connections and support their investment journey in Mauritania.
