On September 12, 2026, the Director of APIM’s Business One-Stop Shop, Ms. Fatimetou Bellamech, took part in the Atlantic Women Hub 2026, held in Las Palmas under the theme “Women Connecting Futures: Canaries–Mauritania.” The event brought together Mauritanian and Canarian women entrepreneurs, business leaders, and institutional representatives.
On this occasion, the Director of the Business One-Stop Shop led a session entitled “Investing in Mauritania,” during which she presented the country’s economic strengths, key sectors, and the support mechanisms offered by APIM to investors.
Organized by Charter 100 Canarias, in collaboration with Mauritania Gateway, the Government of the Canary Islands, and PROEXCA, the event focused on exchanges around women’s entrepreneurship, the realities of the Mauritanian and Canarian markets, and opportunities for cooperation between the two territories.
