APIM at the Tunisia–Mauritania Business Forum
On May 26, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM) took part in the Tunisia–Mauritania Business Forum and B2B meetings, held in Nouakchott in partnership between the Tunisia’s Center for Export Promotion (CEPEX), the Embassy of Tunisia in Mauritania, and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Mauritania (CCIAM).
Represented by its Deputy Director General, Mr. Habiboullah Mohamed Ahmed, APIM highlighted its central role in promoting the private sector in Mauritania through the facilitation, incentivization, and support of investment projects.
Mr. Mohamed Ahmed also presented the various investment opportunities Mauritania has to offer, while emphasizing the ongoing reforms, including the revision of the Investment Code, the digitalization of services, and the Aftercare program aimed at post-investment support.

Ms. Zeinebou Mint Ahmednah, Minister of Trade and Tourism of Mauritania
Mr. N’Guenor Codioro Haroune, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget
Presidents of private sector organizations from both countries
And numerous representatives from the public and private sectors of Mauritania and Tunisia
This forum helped to strengthen economic ties between Tunisia and Mauritania by encouraging dialogue between businesses and paving the way for new forms of cooperation.
