Mauritania Digitalizes Its Services for Investors
As part of the modernization of public administration and improvement of the business climate, the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM) announces the launch of two major online services for investors and entrepreneurs: online business creation and Investment Certificate applications.
These services are now available on the eGov Khidmaty system, accessible via the web and mobile stores. Authentication is secured through the Houwiyeti digital identity.
An official launch ceremony was held today, April 4, 2025, in Nouakchott, under the supervision of Mr. Sid’Ahmed Bouh, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Mr. Ahmed Salem Bede, Minister of Digital Transformation and Administration Modernization.
The event featured live demonstrations by APIM’s team, concretely illustrating the new digital journey now offered to investors.
This project, conducted in partnership with the State Digital Agency (AN-ETAT), represents a significant advancement for the business environment in Mauritania, as well as for the Mauritanian diaspora, who can now undertake business remotely and conveniently contribute to the country’s economic development.
It reflects APIM’s commitment to simplifying procedures, strengthening transparency, and providing a favorable framework for private investment.
