On Friday, August 21, 2026, APIM welcomed at its headquarters a delegation of Indian companies led by H.E. Mr. Neeraj Agrawal, Ambassador of India to Mauritania, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Received by APIM’s Director General, Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, and a team from the Agency, the delegation represented the mining, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, technology, education, solar energy, water and irrigation, and trade sectors.
Discussions focused on Mauritania’s business climate and investment opportunities across these sectors.
At the conclusion of the meeting, APIM and CII agreed to establish a cooperation mechanism, primarily aimed at facilitating investment support, information sharing, and coordination between the two countries.
