Visit of the Embassy of the United States of America
On December 4, 2025, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received at the Agency’s headquarters Ms. Corina Sanders, Chargée d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Mauritania, accompanied by a delegation from the Embassy.
This introductory meeting provided an opportunity to explore prospects for collaboration between APIM and the Embassy, particularly around common priorities related to investment attractiveness and promotion.
The discussions also addressed ways to facilitate connections between American companies, APIM, and Mauritanian public institutions, with the objective of improving access to information, fostering partnerships, and supporting investors more effectively in identifying available opportunities.
APIM and the United States Embassy reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their cooperation in support of investment development and the creation of sustainable economic partnerships.
