Today, 29 January 2025, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, and the Coordinator of the Strategic Priorities Implementation Monitoring Unit (CSEPS), His Excellency Mr. El Hassen ZEIN, signed a Coordination Protocol between the two institutions.
This protocol establishes a structured framework for institutional coordination, aimed at strengthening information exchange, monitoring national strategic priorities, and reporting cross-cutting constraints affecting private investment, with a view to identifying joint operational solutions.
It notably provides for cooperation in improving the business climate, supporting strategic investment projects, and monitoring the implementation of recommendations issued by the High Council for Investment (CSIM).
Established by Decree No. 211-2020, the CSEPS is a Delivery Unit attached to the General Secretariat of the Presidency, responsible for monitoring and accelerating the implementation of the Government’s Strategic Priorities.
