Today, May 5, 2026, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania, Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, took part in the opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the Exhibition of Algerian Products and Services, held in Nouakchott in the presence of officials and representatives of the public and private sectors of both countries.
In his remarks, the Director General highlighted the strengths of the Mauritanian market and stressed the importance of transforming the trade relationship into a genuine investment partnership. He also announced the organization, later this week on the sidelines of the exhibition, of a Mauritania–Algeria Investment Forum, reaffirming the readiness of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania to support any Algerian operator seeking to establish a presence or develop a partnership in Mauritania.
Held over five days and bringing together 350 exhibiting companies, this edition reflects the growing interest of Algerian operators in the Mauritanian market and its investment opportunities.
