Today, April 29, 2026, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, received Ms. Corina Sanders, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Mauritania, accompanied by a delegation, for a working meeting.
The discussions mostly focused on the growing interest of U.S. companies in the Mauritanian market, as well as on ways to facilitate their access to information and strengthen their understanding of the business environment in Mauritania.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to identify practical avenues to further strengthen the existing collaboration between APIM and the Embassy, particularly in promoting investment opportunities, facilitating connections with public and private stakeholders, and supporting American companies in their processes.
The discussions reflected a shared interest in continuing this collaborative dynamic, with a view to better showcasing investment opportunities in Mauritania.
