The Board of Directors of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM) held its 10th session this Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Agency’s headquarters in Nouakchott, under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohameden BAGGA.
This session marks the resumption of proceedings aimed at regularizing the functioning of the Agency’s deliberative body. It also marks the first meeting of the Board in its new composition, following the strengthening of the Agency’s institutional positioning under the Prime Minister, the expansion of its mandate, as well as the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board of Directors and a new Director General, Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud.
The proceedings began with a presentation of the Chairman and members of the Board, followed by the review of the items on the agenda:
• the External Auditor’s report for the 2025 financial year;
• the 2025 activity report;
• the appointment of the members of the Management Committee;
• the scheduling of the upcoming sessions of the Board of Directors and the Management Committee.
At the conclusion of its proceedings, the Board of Directors reviewed and approved all items on the agenda.
