On April 26, 2026, Expo Mauritania 2026 came to an end with a visit by His Excellency the Prime Minister to the various exhibition stands, as part of a closing tour aimed at gathering feedback, results, and impressions from exhibitors.
On this occasion, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania (APIM), Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, presented a summary of the Agency’s participation. He highlighted in particular the continuous mobilization of APIM teams throughout the event to promote the Agency’s mandate, services, and investor support mechanisms.
The teams also engaged in active listening with economic operators, collecting their concerns and feedback, while identifying new project opportunities to be supported. This approach also helped gain a better understanding of the constraints and challenges faced in relation to investment and approval procedures.
