The opening of MH Hotel and Tween Burj Hotel further strengthens the hospitality and service offering of the capital city.
The two projects represent a total investment of MRU 459 million and offer 57 rooms and suites, restaurants, as well as several other hotel services.
They are expected to generate 91 direct jobs and 90 indirect jobs.
Tween Burj Hotel benefited from APIM’s support and received an investment certificate granting access to the incentives provided under the Investment Code.
On this occasion, the Director General of APIM, Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, stated:
“Hospitality is part of Mauritanian identity. Today, this culture of welcoming is also reflected through modern infrastructure that contributes to improving service quality and supporting investment and tourism.”
The inauguration ceremonies took place today in the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Zeinebou Mint Ahmednah, Minister of Trade and Tourism, the Director General of APIM, Dr. Tah Ahmed Meouloud, the President of the UNPM, Mr. Mohamed Zein El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, as well as several institutional and economic stakeholders.
